Creek means to me...
This is Rock Creek, ( We changed our name to Pridezion Labradors in June of 2006 )
It was here that I would go to look at nature, It was here that I could talk to God and It was here that I
brought my first Labs! Rock Creek is where I first learned to swim,fish and catch craw-dads ! It has
always been a part of

As person I am passionate about the Labrador, as a breeder I am dedicated to their health and well being.
My love for dogs of all kinds really became apparent at a young age, a love nurtured by parents who were
very patient and a momma who never would tell me no, every time I brought a discarded and forgotten
"friend" home to love. I look back and laugh cause I remember some of those "friends" that I brought
home and I can just imagine what Mama was thinking!
I started training about the age of 11 years old, if there was one rule that was first and foremost for
training, it was PATIENCE. For me, even early on ,their is and was an emotional connection between me
and the Labrador. My entire training program is based on each individual dog, because I don't believe that
every dog can be trained the same. Of course there are basic applications that can be followed, but true
success lies in the ability to "read" each individual dog and adapt your training program accordingly. The
results have been wonderful with "graduates" that we are very proud of! Our focus is a well balanced
Labrador Retriever both mentally and physically. Conformation preferences lean more toward foundation
Champions of the past, temperaments are excellent and easily placed as family companions or a
"gentleman's hunting dog" we are also proud of our puppies who have gone on to become service
companions.. Our fantastic Puppy Kindergarten gives our puppies a great head start for a noticeably
superior puppy.
In addition to my husband Bill whose support I could never have done without, I would like to thank my
children Whitney and Brent who share my love of Labs and are involved in every aspect of our "kids" from
feeding to kennel care! Pridezion is truly a family affair with each of us working together toward one goal!
Another important recognition belongs to my sister Trina and my nieces, Shelby, Lacey, Samantha and
Sarah. Their help is a truly a blessing! Trina is ALWAYS there when I need 2 of me! I could never say
enough Thank you's to her and the girls! I pray that God bless you 100-fold for the support you have given!
Another source of support has always been from my mama, Ivonna. Her prayers and unconditional love
have been monumental in my life. Thank you so much mama,,,WE love you! Another big thank you goes
to my dad,Paul.

would walk back and forth across the span of the creek, tossing sticks for our Labs, dreaming of the
future or praying for the present. This place was an Oasis of sorts, a promise of restoration on a journey
back from exile. I will always be thankful for the love and mercy that my Heavenly Father has so
graciously bestowed upon me. Rock Creek(Pridezion) is an answered prayer, God has truly granted me the
desire of my heart. I will Forever praise Him!

| OUR BREEDING PROGRAM Health is a priority here and we are dedicated to doing our part to ensure that we minimize the possibilities of negative genetic influences by getting proper health clearances from the Hip & Elbow pre-lims and/OFA or PennHip Finals and CERF and also adding the Optigen Test for 2008. It is our goal to produce a gentle,biddable,loyal family companion for the home and hunting blind. The results are beautiful Labrador retrievers with excellent temperaments that are both impressive in movement as well as conformation. We enjoy competition with our "kids" and am looking forward to setting and attaining new goals for the 2010 season. Our goals are simple, first and foremost our Labs have a wonderful temperament that makes them superb family companions! You will not find better temperaments anywhere and I can say that with absolute confidence. I absolutely refuse to compromise health and temperament, our labs are true gundogs, while being perfect family companions. It is often a general assumption that a good working retriever must be "Hard driving" and have "excessive drive", this just isn't so. This is no way diminishes the success of those accomplished and titled dogs who were bred for such a purpose, it's just we prefer a calmer demeanor. Our dogs are champions in the home first and foremost but are eagerly watching our upcoming "kids" excel in Hunt Tests,Obedience,Tracking,Agility,Conformation Show Rings and Service K-9's. Our breeding program carefully produces Labs with loyal,biddable temperaments, high intelligence,calm and focused attention, good health and good conformation. |
